Solar eclipse and shooting stars August 2026

I’m busy creating an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience of having a cruise ship in position of a truly incredible, must-see astronomical experience; a total solar eclipse. Occurring 12th August 2026, the eclipse will also coincide with one of the best meteor showers in years - the Perseids, featuring hundreds of shooting stars!

 

Because of the Solar Eclipse, this could be an unbelievable opportunity for a one-in-a-million chance to see, and capture, a shooting star during the day, with the potential of Northern Lights!
 
I will be on the ship with other experts, delivering workshops and talks on how best to capture the eclipse as well as shooting stars, as well as enjoying the magical moments together out on deck. 
 
My team will include expert Astronomers to help you have the most incredible experience.
 
We will be leaving the UK, heading up towards Greenland with possible stops in Iceland and other ports along the way.
